Special attention should be paid to the gloves’ strength – thicker gloves ensure greater resistance to mechanical damage. Remember that single-use gloves will not protect you from the consequences of cutting. Another important feature of gloves used in a sterilisation room is their barrier, as indicated by the AQL – the lower its value, the better the protection against pathogens is provided by gloves.
