Poles love sweet pastries and snacks. In addition to traditional confectionery such as e.g. doughnuts, Poles love chocolate. Chocolate products account for over 40% of all sweets purchased in retail chains. High consumption of confectionery and sweets creates the need for special personal protective equipment. The hands of staff of the confectionery industry are the most exposed.

WHAT TO PAY ATTENTION TO?

When handling sweets pay attention to the hands, as they require adequate protection. Each day they come into contact with dough, sweet icings and other, often dangerous substances. Gloves for the confectionery industry must be signed with Food Contact Material symbol. All gloves offered by Mercator have this symbol. It is also a good practice to choose gloves which are long enough – Mercator offers both extended and long gloves – with the length of approximately 300 mm.
