Dairy consumption is an important part of the daily diet. Dairy supplies the body with calcium and vitamin D3, and as a result consumption of dairy products is increasing each year.
It is important for employees working in dairy processing plants to protect their hands by wearing appropriate protective gloves with the Food Contact Material certificate. WHAT TO PAY ATTENTION TO?
In most cases, we recommend that employees of milk processing plants wear gloves with an extended cuff. It helps them to avoid unwanted contact of skin with the given substance. Gloves offered by Mercator can be as much as over 300 mm long.
Look also at the texture of the glove, as it can improve grip even in wet or greasy conditions.
In addition, when working in a milk processing plant, it is necessary to secure hair with an appropriate cap and to use a hygienic gown which protects the employee and the product against contamination.
